For a personally enriching experience, many business people become directly involved with Bancroft programs. Options include:
Days of Caring. You and your employees can spend a day volunteering at a Bancroft site. Companies can do anything from painting classrooms to working directly with people served by Bancroft, based on the interests of your company and your individual employees.
Employment. Partners may wish to hire people served by Bancroft through the organization’s extensive job-placement and training programs. Other ways to support Bancroft’s employment efforts are to arrange volunteer opportunities at your company for Bancroft students or adults, or to hire Bancroft to do your company’s piecework such as photocopying, packaging, floral arranging, and the like.
Committee Membership. Joining a Bancroft committee is a great way to help and have fun. Partners can join the Development Committee to help plan fundraising initiatives and obtain donations, or one of the special-event committees to help plan and execute the annual Golf Tournament, Gala, or Spring Event.
