Brain Injury Services Life Enrichment Activities
Individuals served by Bancroft NeuroHealth's Brain Injury Services have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of activities designed to enhance the quality of their lives. They include:
- - Higher education classes (e.g. Camden County Community College, Rutgers University, and Rowan University)
- - Art classes
- - Yoga classes
- - Bowling teams
- - Horseback riding
- - Attending sporting events, concerts and other special events
- - Participating in self-advocacy groups
- - Volunteer activities, including food drives and creating holiday gift baskets for community groups supporting those in need
- - Camping trips
Those served also have opportunities to attend a number of annual conferences and organized social activities, including: the New York Metro Abilities Expo, which showcases the latest products and services to enhance the lives of people with disabilities, and the Brain Injury Association of New Jersey's annual “Beach Day.”
