Bancroft expands Brain Injury Programs in New Jersey

On December 1st, Bancroft will officially acquire a program in Plainsboro, New Jersey, formerly operated by HealthSouth, which consists of residential and day services for 13 adults with acquired brain injuries. The program operates eight supervised apartments in a suburban apartment complex near Princeton, as well as a day program site about a mile away. The program’s existing 25 staff members will become Bancroft employees.

Bancroft has a strong record of success in serving individuals with brain injuries, and this program offers a similar treatment approach. The new program will fall under the leadership of Dr. Daniel Keating, Executive Vice President of LifeSpan Services, and will operate under the direction of Dr. Cynthia Boyer, Senior Director of Bancroft Brain Injury Services. (Dr. Boyer oversees Day Treatment Services, which serves 43 individuals, as well as supervised apartments and group homes throughout area communities, which serve 50 adults with brain injuries. Bancroft also serves another 41 individuals with acquired brain injuries at its programs in Mullica Hill and Brick Township, as well as at the Flicker Center in Voorhees.)
