Bancroft NeuroHealth Part of Haddonfield Home and Garden Tour
Lullworth Hall, a magnificent example of the Queen Anne style architecture, will be one of the five homes and buildings participating in The Haddon Fortnightly Home and Garden Tour Friday, May 2.
Visitors to Bancroft’s Lullworth Hall can stroll the grounds of this historic building, including the Margaret Bancroft Memorial Garden, and visit Bancroft’s “Butterfly Garden,” which is cared for by Bancroft School students.
Visitors will be able to enjoy superb architectural features such as its elegant porte-cochere entrance, double porches, beautiful configuration of windows and great balcony tower. Interior opulent Victorian craftsmanship is evidenced throughout the rooms available to the public. Lullworth, home to Bancroft NeuroHealth and used today for administrative office and conference room space, was also the first home in Haddonfield to boast having electricity.
The Home and Garden Tour will run from 10 am – 8 PM. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 day of the tour. For more information call (856) 858-1199.
