Bancroft Students Raise Money for The American Heart Association

Hoops for Heart…Bancroft School student Zachary Freedman practices his technique in the recent “Hoops For Heart” fundraiser for the American Heart Association. Students completed basketball skill drills such as dribbling, passing and shooting baskets with one-one-one assists from student volunteers from Rowan University as they took to the basketball court to raise money pledged by sponsors. Proceeds will help the AHA fight heart disease and stroke. The annual event in schools across the country promotes the value of physical activity and the importance of living a heart-healthy lifestyle.

The Bancroft School, part of Bancroft NeuroHealth, is based in Haddonfield, NJ with sites in Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Ocean, Salem and Middlesex Counties in New Jersey and in Delaware. Bancroft NeuroHealth serves children and adults with developmental disabilities, brain injuries and other neurological impairments. Programs include education, rehabilitation, vocational, residential, evaluation and treatment services.
