Bancroft will present a free workshop titled “Overview of Acquired and Traumatic Brain Injuries” on Wed. Jan. 19 in Haddonfield.
This workshop will provide an introduction to brain anatomy, development, areas of the body that each section of the brain controls, types of brain injuries that people can be born with or that occur at birth, and types of brain injuries that can occur through accidents or trauma.
Designed for family members and professionals who support people with neurological disabilities, the workshop will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 pm in the Farrington Hall conference room on Bancroft’s Haddonfield Campus at 425 Kings Highway East. The session will be presented by Bancroft neuropsychologist Karen Lindgren, Ph.D.
