3.09 | Free Developmental Disability Workshop: Understanding Medicaid, SSI and other important entitlements

WHAT: Bancroft NeuroHealth's FREE workshop series on topics related to developmental disabilities will hold a special informational workshop on Understanding Medicaid, SSI and other important entitlements. Valerie Powers Smith, Esq., with Hinkle, Fingles and Prior law firm, will discuss New Jersey's Medicaid program and benefits available through the Social Security Administration, including SSI benefits. She will also explain how to obtain and maintain eligibility for entitlement benefit programs to meet healthcare and adult service needs of persons with disabilities. Parents, caretakers and educational professionals are encouraged to attend; continuing education credits (CEUs) are available.
