5.09 | Comedian Joe Conklin to Entertain at Bancroft Golf Outing
Haddonfield, NJ - May 2009 - Comedian Joe Conklin, a man of a thousand voices and one of the most sought after corporate banquet speakers in the area, will entertain participants of Bancroft NeuroHealth's Golf Outing during its dinner reception on June 1 at the Tavistock Country Club in Haddonfield, NJ.
In Philadelphia radio for more than 20 years and recipient of numerous Achievement in Radio awards, Conklin is most famous for his work impersonating the voices of local sports figures on the WIP 610 morning show with Angelo Cataldi. His stand-up routine is legendary as he has skewered some of the country's top politicians, athletes and film stars.
Proceeds from the Golf Outing will go toward enhancing programs for children and adults with autism, brain injuries and developmental disabilities served by Bancroft, a nationally recognized non-profit organization headquartered in Haddonfield, NJ.
The Golf Outing will take place at two courses: Woodcrest Country Club in Cherry Hill, NJ and Tavistock Country Club in Haddonfield, NJ.
